Medicus Scrub Cap Size Guide
Best way not to be disappointed
We make your scrub cap to order with your specifications using limited runs of printed fabric or embroidery. This means we can't offer refunds on those orders as they are made to your specifications.
To avoid this we strongly advise ordering a sample pack of the style and size you think will best fit you and then if it is your size just return it to us for a refund and if it doesn't fit then you can choose the size above or below that will.

Alternatively use the estimates below to work out your sizing. With different head shapes and amounts of hair it is very tricky for these to be 100% accurate for everyone. If you are closer to the bottom or top of a range i would recommend going a size up, especially for Captain style which is just for the crown of your head.

I WANT TO CHOOSE MY OWN SIZE:
To be able to get the right size scrub cap is one of the most important steps before placing your order. The size of the caps are based on a few different parameters. The most important ones are head circumference, hair length and size and wearers preference.
As we manufacture 5 styles of scrub caps, all have different ranges and parameters to take into consideration, You will find here out guidance on each style. We still advise customers to purchase a refundable sample box to ensure that the style/size chosen are the correct ones.
As a broad statement, we offer sizes from XS to 2XL for some of our styles.

Style of cap
We have 3 core styles of caps and 2 inclusive designs.
Bandana:
This cap features ties at the back, sitting nicely over the head and covering the ears. This is one of the caps of preference for short hair.

Captain:
This cap features ties and elastic at the back, sitting nicely over the head and above the ears. This is one of the caps of preference for short hair. Great for loop wearers and is a snug fit. Is important to be aware that this cap does not have a big embroidery area due to the height, which limits the embroidery possibilities. Just drop us a message if you want to clarify if your idea/design would work.

Bandana:
This cap features elastic at the back, sitting nicely over the head and have space to tuck hair in when needed. This is one of the caps of preference for medium to long hair.

Bouffant:
This cap features more material at the back to fit longer/bulkier hair, sitting nicely over the head and it can come with or without ties. This is one of the caps of preference for really long hair, ponytails, afro hair and dreadlocks.

Hijab / Ortho hood :
This cap features wrap around material, sitting nicely over the head and covering the whole head from top to shoulders. This is one of the caps of preference to wear over the Hijab or as Ortho hood.
This product only comes in one size.
Custom Sizes / Modifications
Custom sizes are available on request and only for bulk orders of 50+ caps. If you need a theatre hat with any modification or different measurements, fabric print or sizes, please don't hesitate to contact us first.
