Using data from the NHS, NHS Digital teams and the British medical journal, we have developed a calculator that helps hospitals and trusts to estimate their carbon emissions and spend on disposable caps. The calculator takes into account a number of factors, including the number of staff, the frequency of cap changes, and the cost of laundering.
