Which style should I choose if I wear glasses or a stethoscope?
The Captain and The Crown both sit above the ears, leaving them exposed for stethoscopes, glasses arms, or earloop masks. The Captain has ties plus elastic; the Crown is slip-on elastic only. Applies to: The Captain, The Crown, Plain Captain collection, Plain Crown collection
How do I know what size scrub cap to order?
Measure around your head where the cap will sit, typically just above your ears and across your forehead. Our size guide shows the measurements for each size, XS to 2XL, by style. If you're between sizes, size up, or order a Sample Box to try before committing, as people wear the same size differently.
What material are your scrub caps made from?
Our caps are made from 100% premium cotton (football-club caps are poly-cotton): breathable, comfortable during long shifts, and naturally absorbent, so there's no need for a separate sweatband. The fabric is tested for durability and comfort in clinical environments. We're also piloting hemp in some NHS trusts.
Do you offer latex-free options?
Yes. All our elastic is latex-free, on every cap style, for anyone with a latex sensitivity.
How should I wash my scrub cap at home?
Follow your workplace washing policy. General guidance is machine wash at 40-60°C with similar colours. Tumble dry on low or air dry. Iron on medium heat if needed. Avoid bleach and fabric softeners which can affect the cotton's breathability. We have NHS Trusts washing at higher temperatures like 70C so depends on your use case and work policies.

Made to order in the UK using quality cotton fabric. Reusable, washable, and built to last through hundreds of wash cycles. Hotter washes do shorten a cap's overall life, so follow your NHS workwear policy and wash at 60°C where you can.
