Questions about personalised scrub caps | custom embroidery

What can I have embroidered on my scrub cap?
You can add your name, job title, department, credentials, or short text. We offer multiple thread colours and font styles. For logos, we recommend vinyl transfers for complex designs or embroidery for simple block logos.
How many characters can I have embroidered?
We recommend up to 15 characters per line for the best appearance. Longer text may need a smaller font size. If you need more text, we can split it across two or three lines or discuss alternative placements.
What's the difference between embroidery and vinyl transfers?
Embroidery is stitched directly into the fabric, ideal for names and simple logos with a premium raised texture. Vinyl transfers are heat-pressed, better for detailed logos, gradients or photographic images.
Will the embroidery fade or come off in the wash?
No. We use commercial-grade embroidery thread that's colour-fast and designed for medical environments. The stitching is secured to withstand industrial washing and won't unravel or fade.
Can you embroider my hospital/clinic logo?
Yes, with no minimum order. Block logos work best for embroidery. For complex logos with fine detail, we recommend vinyl transfers instead. Send your logo and our team will advise the best approach. Applies to: Custom Embroidery, Vinyl Transfer, Bulk Orders
How long will my scrub cap order take?
Every Medicus cap is made to order in our Sheffield workshop, and most orders are dispatched the same or next working day. More customisation takes a little longer, and custom printed fabric takes about a week. Need it sooner? Rush orders are available for a fee. Delivery time is added after dispatch, and your shipping options and estimate show at checkout. We'll email tracking when your order ships.

Start with our custom scrub caps listing, or add embroidery to any cap in this collection. Type your text and the custom listing shows a preview of how it will sit on the cap, so you can check the spacing before you order. Embroidery starts from £6 for text, and from £9 for a logo or more detailed design, with digitisation included. Our embroidery text size guide shows how much fits on each style.
