Every Medicus cap has a passport.
Sewn inside every cap is a label with a unique QR code. Scan it and the cap tells you its story.
What it is
Style, size, fabric, where and when it was made, and the options you chose. The care guide lives with the cap, not in a drawer.
What it saves
An estimate of the CO2 a reusable cap avoids against disposables, with the method stated on the page. How it's worked out.
How it's doing
Claim your cap to log washes, add photos and track its life. Claiming takes ten seconds.
Where it ends
When it's done, mark it recycled and send it for textile recycling. Snip off embroidery first, because it carries your name.
How to open yours
- Find the label inside your cap. The QR code is on it, with the cap's 8-character code underneath.
- Scan it with your phone camera, or type the code after bulk.medicuscaps.com/c/ in your browser.
- Claim it with the email you ordered with. No app, no account, nothing to install.
Why we built it
Reusables only beat disposables if they're used, washed and kept in service, so we made that measurable, one cap at a time. For individuals it's a care record. For teams it's a fleet view: every cap, every wash, condition checks and a consistent estimate of CO2 avoided that says exactly what it counts. It sits alongside our sustainability promise and the data behind it.
For teams and organisations
Bought caps for several people? Each cap is locked to your order email until you hand it on from the passport, which takes one tap per cap. Orders through our bulk platform add an organisation dashboard and auditor sign-in: caps in service, claim rate, laundering records, condition checks, and the figures a sustainability lead or auditor asks for.
