What are Medicus scrub caps made of?
Every Medicus scrub cap is made from tightly woven 100% cotton, designed and manufactured in the UK. They are reusable, breathable and built for all-day comfort in theatre.
Are reusable scrub caps better than disposable ones?

Sizing & Fit
How do I find my scrub cap size?
Every head is different — so before ordering, we strongly recommend trying samples first. Our Build A Scrub Cap Sample Box works on a deposit scheme: build your box with the styles and sizes you want to try, and what you pay acts as a refundable deposit. Try the caps at home, send them back with the free prepaid UK return label, and your deposit is refunded — trying costs you nothing. What sizes do scrub caps come in?
Most designs are available in sizes XS to 2XL. Our sizing guide explains how to measure your head and choose between tie-back and elastic-backed fits — and if you're between sizes, order a sample box to be sure.
Washing & Care
Are Medicus scrub caps machine washable?
Yes. All our cotton scrub caps are machine washable and made to survive repeated hospital and home laundering. Vinyl transfer designs are hard-wearing and withstand NHS laundry processes. See our Care Guide.
How often should I wash my scrub cap?
We recommend washing after every shift, the same as your scrubs. Having 2–3 caps in rotation makes this easy — and you save 10% automatically when you buy 3 or more caps.

How long does delivery take?
Every cap is made to order in the UK. Orders are typically made and dispatched within 2 weeks (faster where possible). Tracked and express courier options are available at checkout if you need your cap for a specific date.
Do you offer free delivery?
Yes — free delivery on orders over £50.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide from the UK with tracked and courier options.
Can I return a custom scrub cap?
Because each cap is custom-made using limited-run fabrics and embroidery, orders are final and cannot be refunded once placed — that's why we recommend trying our deposit-based sample box first to confirm your size and style (deposit refunded when samples come back with the free UK return label).
